What Type Of Bondage Is My Favourite?

"What type of bondage is your favourite, Mistress?" is a question that submissive males often ask me. I understand this question. It makes sense. They love being in bondage. I love putting them in bondage. So which is my favourite?

Leather Bondage

Like most Mistresses starting out on her career/lifestyle, my first bondage items were leather. Leather varies so much between being hard, thick and unwieldy to the softest, smoothest silk.

Rubber Bondage

My first rubber bondage item was a beautifully made body bag. I still have it. It has internal sleeves to stop wandering hands furtively making their way to the front of the body. It has a triple way zip to give me as much access as I need. It has straps and lacing to ensure a customised tight fit. It is incredibly smooth, both inside and out and it moves beautifully as I take it off its hanger and lay it down, just before I put a submissive male into its womb like interior. I love the tightness of a rubber hood as I manoeuvre it onto a sub's head. The sound of the zip as it travels from the crown of the head, down to the nape of the neck, pulling itself into shape and dehumanising the wearer. Medical Bondage

There is nothing scent-sual or smooth about medical bondage. This is rough, and coarse, and not in the lease bit aesthetically pleasing. Medical bondage has a sense of real purpose for me because the best kit is genuine and authentic. Medical bondage is purposefully designed to restrict a body to prevent further damage, or it is used to torture a body, you know, the non-consensual kind, in far-flung countries who don't worry too much about human rights.

Medical bondage is less obvious. It is strong. It means business.

Steel Bondage

Steel is real. Handcuffs are shiny, strong, and make the most delicious sound as they close over a sub's wrists. Without the key, there is no escape. Add a steel helmet, or steel ball mitts, and they render the male body completely helpless and vulnerable. I'm not an advocate of hands in front of the body, I prefer hands behind, leaving the most delicate areas exposed and easily accessed - for me.

Proper handcuffs though, not the rubbish from Ann Summers, the real thing, Hiatts are just perfect. Belly chains, cuffs, spreader bars, and wonderful cock rings with internal screws that poke as the sub gets more and more aroused.

Rope Bondage

Rope is simple. It takes up very little room. It can be smooth cotton in a rainbow of colours, or it can be plain white, or it can be rough hemp with a gorgeous earthy smell. Rope is simple to use, but to use it well is mastery. I can tie up cock and balls effectively with my narrow purple cord, and I can do an effective hog tie with my hemp and jute. But I don't have the skill and patience for Shibari otherwise known as Japanese Rope Bondage.

So which type is my favourite type of bondage?

The answer is very simple but may be a complete cop out. My favourite bondage is the one I am using. I base my choice on the preferences of the submissive male. I use the bondage to excite him, to control him, to use his weakness against him for my own amusement. It is precisely because I cannot bear the idea of being confined inside something or having my movements restricted that I enjoy 'subjecting' my sub to something that they get so much pleasure from. I do to them exactly what I would hate myself. By playing out my own fears, by tightening buckles and straps, or tormenting them by telling them to fight it, or wriggle, so I can identify looseness, I am causing pleasure to someone else.

The juxtaposition of fear and pleasure or restraint and comfort intrigues me, and the power I feel having another mind and soul completely submissive and vulnerable to me is my favourite type of bondage.
